Unofficial

So as I was watching the debate I wondered...

When the Middle-class American family is sitting around the kitchen table discussing Johnny's tuition, or co-pays, or rising heating costs. Do we EVER say, I wonder how the government is going to help us with this problem.

So I added my on poll about it.

I won't share my views or feeling on the subject, so as not to sway answers.

Hey Amy - for some reason your poll wouldn't take my vote - So I'll just tell you that my vote is no - it never occurs to me to have the govt help solve my financial issues ! (unless you count waiting for a tax return to buy a big ticket item etc)

Okay - now it let me vote - sorry - now it's not anonymous - !

I like that Biden complains that Americans are getting lower pay and that big companies like Exxon have way too much money. I guess there are no middle class families getting a paycheck from Exxon. There would be a lot more money to go around if rich people didn't lock it all up in a vault and roll around in it like Scrooge McDuck.

I often say, how am I going to pay this or I am sick of paying for co-pays but I never wonder why the gov't can't pay it for me. I do confess that when I am filling out our tax forms Matthew and I always get excited to see how much "the gov't" is going to give us this year. But I guess since we pay taxes, it is really our money we are getting back anyway...
