Feeling Grateful

I guess what I am really feeling is little ungrateful. Days and weeks and even months can go by without me even thinking about how lucky I am to have 5 extremely healthy children. Yesterday a note came home with Kamrie, one of her very good friends from school had passed away. Adorable Davis, who's tiny little body had been plagued with many health issues for his whole 6 years of life, finally gave up the fight. Then last night at a church event I spent some time with a little two year old, who has so many complications I couldn't even begin to describe.

So here is my very public "Thank-you" for my children who have been blessed with health.

And a special Prayer for Davis' Family.

I posted awhile back that we(I) had decided to start Zac on ADD meds. I am so happy to report that yesterday he brought home his grades and is on the Honor Roll for the first time ever!!! Way to go Zac, we always knew you could do it.

Our New Year's Eve Party

Our New Year's Eve was originally going to be a quiet night at home. Then Jim mentioned he had invited Tyler's friends from church over. Since the dance at church is only for 14 and up, it would give them somewhere to go. Pretty soon word spread and all the boys were coming. Then the parents were coming too. It ended up being a great night, and we all had a blast. At one point the boys had 3 X Box machines connected to three tv's all playing against each other.

They also played a lot of Guitar Hero, and the best part was watching our friend Dillan who plays on expert and is incredible. I told him he is my new "hero"!!
